Grievance redressal

A complaint with a name and a deadline attached

Every complaint reaches a named officer, is acknowledged within 48 hours, and carries a resolution timeline. If we fail it, the escalation route is printed here rather than kept behind a call centre.

How to raise a complaint

Send it in writing if you can — a written record is the one that carries a timeline.

01
Step one

Write to the Grievance Redressal Officer

Include your full name, the mobile number used on the application, your application or loan reference, and a short description of the problem with the dates involved. Attach any statement or message you are disputing.

02
Within 48 hours

We acknowledge in writing

You receive a written acknowledgement carrying a complaint reference number. Keep it — the escalation routes below require it.

03
Within 30 days

We resolve, or tell you why not

We investigate, respond in writing, and where a charge was wrongly levied we arrange for it to be reversed. If we cannot resolve it, we tell you that in writing and explain the next step.

04
If unresolved

Escalate, in the order below

The lending partner comes first because the loan is legally theirs. If the partner does not resolve it within its own timeline, the RBI route opens.

Register a complaint

This form is a convenience. The written record that starts the clock is your email to the grievance officer.

Received. You will get a written acknowledgement with a reference number within 48 hours.

This is a static site, so the form uses a demo handler. Connect it to your backend or grievance ticket system before going live, and make sure the written acknowledgement is actually sent.

Note for the site owner. Insert the designated officer's name in the field above before the site goes live. Regulatory expectations are that a named individual, not a department, is reachable here.

03

Escalation ladder

Four levels, in the order the regulator expects them to be used. Move to the next only when the previous one has run out its timeline.

01
Level 1 · Acknowledgement in 48 hours

BlueMoney Grievance Redressal Officer

Your complaint is received and investigated by us — the charge description, the schedule, the recovery conduct, or the disbursal record. Resolution target is 30 days from receipt.

02
Level 2 · Within 30 days of Level 1

Nodal officer of the lending partner

The loan is legally the lending partner's, so it carries the ultimate responsibility for the account. Escalate with your complaint reference number and a copy of our final response. The partner's nodal officer details are printed in your loan agreement and Key Fact Statement.

03
Level 3 · If unresolved by the partner

RBI Consumer Education and Protection Department

Write to the Consumer Education and Protection Department of the Reserve Bank of India at the regional office covering Maharashtra, enclosing the complaint reference and the partner's response, or its silence beyond the timeline.

04
Level 4 · After 30 days, or on rejection

Reserve Bank Integrated Ombudsman Scheme

File a complaint with the RBI Integrated Ombudsman. Complaints must generally be filed within two years of the cause of action and can be lodged online, by email, or by post, free of cost. Legal representation is not required.

04

Report fraud or impersonation

Loan fraud in India follows a small number of recognisable patterns. Knowing four of them is most of the protection.

An advance fee

Any request to pay a "processing fee", "file charge" or "insurance" before disbursal — especially to a personal account — is fraud. Fees are deducted from the disbursed amount; they are never collected upfront.

An OTP request

No genuine lender needs your OTP to release money. An OTP authorises a debit from your account, never a credit to it. Sharing one gives away control of your funds.

A loan you never applied for

If a loan appears against your PAN without an application, your identity documents have been misused. Report it to us and to the police, and check your credit report.

A clone app or site

Check the address bar. Our site is bluemoney.in and our brand is BlueMoney. An app or domain with a similar-but-different spelling is not ours.

If you have already paid. Report it immediately — call the national cybercrime helpline 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in — and inform your bank so the transaction can be flagged. Then tell us on 99302 96785 so we can warn other applicants about the same pattern.

05

The RBI Integrated Ombudsman

The final rung, and the one that does not depend on us or the lending partner agreeing with you.

01
What it coversDeficiency in service
The Reserve Bank Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021 covers complaints about deficiency in service by a regulated entity, including a lending partner on this platform. It is administered free of charge and does not require a lawyer.
  • Charges you were not told about.
  • A statement that does not match the disclosed schedule.
  • Recovery conduct that breaches the fair practice code.
  • Delay or shortfall in disbursal.
02
Before you can fileThe 30-day step
You must first complain to the lending partner and either receive a rejection or wait 30 days without a response. Keep your complaint reference from Level 1 and Level 2 — the ombudsman will ask for them.
03
How to fileThree routes
Complaints can be filed on the RBI's CMS portal, by email to the Centralised Receipt and Processing Centre, or by post. All three are free.
  • Online through the RBI Complaint Management System.
  • By email to the address listed on the RBI's ombudsman page.
  • By post, clearly marked as a complaint under the Integrated Ombudsman Scheme.
04
Time limitTwo years
A complaint must generally be filed within two years of the date on which the cause of action arose. Do not sit on a resolved-but-unsatisfactory response for longer than that.
05
What happens thenResolution or award
The ombudsman may attempt settlement between the parties, pass an award, or reject the complaint with reasons. An award is binding on the regulated entity if you accept it within the period stated.

Exact email addresses, postal addresses and portal links change from time to time. Confirm the current contact details on the Reserve Bank of India's own website before filing, and quote your lending partner's name as it appears in your Key Fact Statement.

Next step

If something is wrong, say so

A charge you were not told about, a recovery call at the wrong hour, a statement that does not match the schedule — all of it is worth raising, in writing, with the reference number attached.
